BKV (BK Virus) Qualitative PCR Kit

GUD GeneAmp BKV (BK Virus) Qualitative PCR Kit:

PRODUCT CODE: Gene Amp-010

INTRODUCTION: BK Virus (BKV), a member of the polyomavirus family, is a common latent virus that can reactivate in immunocompromised individuals, particularly kidney transplant recipients. Reactivation can lead to BK virus-associated nephropathy (BKVAN), which may result in graft loss if not detected early.

The BK Virus PCR Detection Kit provides a fast, sensitive, and reliable method for the detection of BKV DNA in clinical samples using real-time PCR technology. Designed for diagnostic and research applications, this kit helps clinicians monitor viral Presence and guide timely medical intervention.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: GUD GeneAmp kit utilizes TaqMan probe-based real-time PCR to detect BK virus DNA with high specificity. Compatible with most real-time PCR systems, the kit includes all essential reagents for efficient workflow and accurate results.

❄️ Storage Conditions and Product Stability

  • All the kit reagents should be stored at -20 °C.
  • All kit components should be aliquoted based on your workload and stored at -20 °C after each use.
  • Avoid repeated thawing and freezing (more than 6–10 times) to prevent loss of assay sensitivity.
