INTRODUCTION:

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a widespread virus that can cause severe complications in immunocompromised individuals, organ transplant recipients, and newborns. Accurate and timely diagnosis is critical for effective patient management.

The CMV PCR Detection Kit by real-time PCR-based assay designed to detect CMV DNA with high sensitivity and specificity. Ideal for use in clinical laboratories and research settings, this kit enables rapid identification of active CMV infections from a wide range of human sample types.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: The GUD GeneAmp CMV PCR Detection Kit utilizes advanced TaqMan probe technology to deliver fast, accurate results. It is optimized for use with standard real-time PCR instruments and includes all necessary reagents for efficient and reliable amplification.

❄️ Storage Conditions and Product Stability

  • All the kit reagents should be stored at -20 °C.
  • Kit components should be aliquoted based on your workload and stored at -20 °C after each use.
  • Repeated thawing and freezing (more than 6–10 times) of reagents should be avoided, as it reduces assay sensitivity.

  • CMV Master Mix (Contains 10X PCR Buffer, 40 mM dNTP, 5U/µl Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase)
  • CMV Primer Probe Mix (CMV PPM)
  • IC Primer Probe Mix (IC PPM)

  • MBGW (Molecular Biology Grade Water) – Negative Control
