GUD GeneAmp HLA B27 Qualitative PCR Kit

PRODUCT CODE: Gene Amp-006

INTRODUCTION: HLA-B27 is a Class I surface antigen encoded by the B locus in the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) complex. The presence of this allele is strongly associated with several inflammatory diseases, particularly ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease-related arthritis.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: GUD GeneAmp HLA-B27 Detection Kit is a reliable and high-sensitivity assay designed for the qualitative detection of the HLA-B27 allele, a major genetic marker associated with autoimmune disorders such as ankylosing spondylitis and other spondyloarthropathies. The kit uses Real Time Polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), to identify the presence of HLA-B27 antigen or gene.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND PRODUCT STABILITY:

  1. All the kit reagents should be stored at -20 °C. All the kit components should be aliquot based on your work load and should be stored at -20 °C after usage.
  2. Repeated thawing and freezing (more than 6 to 10 times) of all kit reagents should be avoided, as it reduces assay sensitivity.
  3. KIT COMPONENTS:

    • HLA B-27 Master Mix (Contains 10 X PCR Buffer, 40mM dNTP, 5U/µl Hot start Taq DNA Polymerase).
    • HLA Primer Probe Mix (HLA PPM)
    • Internal Control Primer Probe Mix and Internal Control DNA (IC PPM)
    •  HLA Positive Control (HLA PC)
