PRODUCT CODE: GGA–001 Taq DNA Polymerase is isolated from Thermus aquaticus. It is a thermo stable DNA polymerase that possesses a 5’→3’ polymerase activity and a 5’-flap endonuclease activity. It synthesizes DNA at elevated temperatures from single-stranded templates in a presence of a primer. The enzyme consists of a single polypeptide with a molecular weight of approximately 92 kDa.
